Jeff and Lee on KKMS 980 AM Minneapolis

On November 1rst, I was interviewed for one hour by Jeff and Lee on KKMS 980 AM (Minneapolis).

They were excellent and led me into covering a lot of material.
I hope they do invite me back and I get an opportunity to take more calls.

Click here to go to the podcast of the November 1rst interview.

Here is a rough list of the topics and links if you want to go into more detail:
CS Lewis said things that are the same are separate while things that are different may be connected. He was talking about "Uniqueness".

I talked about my story and how I discovered the non-cotnradictory Model for God.

This led to a description of two of the four principles of Modeletics(tm).
If you want to read about all three in order, click here.
If you want to read about the one I described first: click on Non-contradiction.
The next principle I described was Causality.
One of the abuses of Causality is when Preachers Teach Effects.

I did the short version of Proving God Exists in 8 Seconds.
I explained some of my experience using the Bible to solve a problem for SC Johnson Wax.
There was an excellent question from a caller concerning Righteousness.
It led to a discussion about Grace and how Jesus is "Fully God AND Fully Man".
I also got to explain how Jesus actually had Two Messages.

We eventually covered the last two principles: Contrastive Thinking and Growth.
I even went into the solution to World Peace.
The show ended with me showing how you can have more faith in the next 5 minutes.

Three more bonus entries:
Apologetics was mentioned a lot...here is a different take on that subject.
The current state of the church and the solution are examined in this entry.
Leaders who can't define "God" and "Salvation" are demonstrating the characteristics of a Cult Leader

Very interesting, I have to purchase your book after listening to the podcast a couple of times, just to wrap my brain around the concepts you introduced. Hope you are back as a KKMS guest soon.

Hi anon! I am from MN too and heard the show on KKMS. I just got the book in the mail yesterday and can hardly put it down. it is already challenging my view of salvation. But I agree with him that it is not a sin to consider other views...
Mabye after we have both read it, we could share our insights we get out of it, and our disagreements too...

Thank you for purchasing the book. Please feel free to contact me with any questions and criticisms. The first half is foundational: God and Salvation. The second half is EXTREMELY practical...it seems the second half is ALL anyone talks about once they finish the book. It's like the first half is when you build the model and the second half is when you get to play with it.

I'll write about this soon, but having a non-contradictory explanation for God and Salvation is important. How are you sure you are worshipping the right God and will make it to Heaven? Beside, two of the characteristics of a cult is they can't explain God and Salvation.

Thanks I sure will share my questions and criticisms here, that is if you don't mind?
I want to read and think through it first so I don't misunderstand where you are coming from.
I guess I will not be part of the ALL that is only interested in the second half. I am mainly interested in God and Salvation issues myself, but I will read the second half too.

Michael,

I ALWAYS enjoy people questioning me in public...I want to learn how to be better and I want others to be able to learn off of me.

I don't know if you read the "Three Questions" series...these show EXACTLY how I question others.

If not, go to this address: http://modeletics.blogspot.com/2007/08/three-questions-overview.html

One of the "problems" with having a non-contradictory worldview is that it is hard to know when to stop the discussion. Currently, most discussions start on one topic, then move to the next topic and hit a contradiction...end of discussion.

People who read "Modeling God" can answer questions for hours because everytime the topic switches the person can answer the questions.

I'm interested to see where you end up. God and Salvation are two things we are SUPPOSED to know completely. It would be unjust of God for us not to know these two areas for sure. The rest of the book goes into areas that involve infinite applications: life, truth, love, art, marriage, prayer, and who you ARE...

THAT is where the REAL discussion begins...
